*For your pet's safety we perform blood work prior to any surgical procedure requiring general anesthesia.
Vaccinations
Pet vaccinations are our form of preventative medicine. Keeping your pets up-to-date on all of their vaccinations will help to protect them against dangerous diseases. We recommend that you have your pets examined and vaccinated once a year. For elderly animals we recommend an exam every 6 months. At Animal Care Hospital of Matthews we offer all vaccinations available for dogs, cats and ferrets.
Boarding
Animal Care Hospital of Matthews offers pet boarding on site in our hospital. There is a separate facility for dogs and cats. Both facilities are heated/air conditioned and strictly indoors. Dogs are taken on walks multiple times a day in order to maintain a healthy exercise regimen. Animal Care also boards birds and ferrets. All pets must be current on all vaccinations in order to board.
